Modellos, a one time use stencil of sorts, enable you, the artist, to achieve embossed (raised) or inlayed (carved relief) looks on all surface scales, large and small. What can be achieved on a ceiling, a cabinet door panel, and everything in between is unbelievable.
Students will work with various plasters and textural products, learning multi-colored embossing, gilded inlay, and techniques for wood and glass.
The finishes taught in this workshop are stunning with the modello process and also stand alone beautifully. This class will add to your portfolio a collection of embellished techniques that will dazzle designers and impress the best.
